With the holiday’s coming it’s time to think about your 2017 marketing strategy. This is the last week before the kids get out of school and people switch their focus to celebrating, so I’ve compiled an end of year list of “2017 Marketing Events that will improve your Business Strategy” to help you keep a close eye on 2017 marketing preparation considerations.

Start by giving yourself the gift of professional development: a ticket to Social Media Marketing World 2017! http://bit.ly/2fdjygv  #SMMW17 -Click to Tweet

As social marketing becomes a more adopted business development strategy this list could easily reach in the 100’s of available seminars taking place around the world. For retention sake, I’ve chosen to focus on a few of my personal favorites as well as those I plan to attend to help sharpen my skills and network with professional mentors.

1. The Copywriter’s Workshop. February 15-16 2017 in Birmingham Alabama

I love how they promise, “Give Us Two Days and You’ll Be Creating More Successful Copy the Very Next Day!”

All the fancy graphics and eye-catching layouts in the world won’t help your marketing pieces without one key ingredient: Powerful copy that makes your reader crave the product or service you’re selling or promoting. And while there are a few copywriting strategies that remain timeless (“Show … don’t tell!”), everything else seems to change on a monthly basis. What worked in a campaign six months ago can fall flat today.
